Sourcewell is a government agency that provides cooperative purchasing services to more than 50,000 state and local government entities, public and private K-12 and higher education institutions, and nonprofit organizations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The American Public Works Association serves professionals in all aspects of public works \u2014 a fact that sets it apart from other organizations and makes it an effective voice of public works throughout North America. With a worldwide membership over 28,500 strong, APWA includes not only personnel from local, county, state\/province and federal agencies, but also private sector personnel who supply products and services to those professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Accredited Snow Contractors Association is dedicated to providing snow and ice control professionals with the tools they need to protect their business against risk. In addition to representing the industry with the insurance world, ASCA represents the industry with local, state and federal governments, provides education and certification and fosters networking opportunities among industry peers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Come Alive Outside is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that works closely with partners in the landscape and snow and ice control profession, as well as college horticulture and landscape architecture departments, in order to get people off the couch and back outside in communities across North America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Green Truck Association was established in 2010 as an affiliate division of NTEA in recognition of the growing interest and demand for environmentally friendly products in the work truck industry. The goal of the GTA is to continue the progression of green work trucks through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The National Association of Landscape Professionals is the trade association for the landscape industry, representing the voice of more than 100,000 landscape professionals. NALP provides its members with a platform for growth founded on educational resources and peer-to-peer sharing on a national scale, giving members invaluable access to the best ideas and best practices in the landscaping industry. NALP\u2019s mission is to passionately advocate for the economic, social and environmental benefits of the landscape industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Established in 1964, NTEA \u2013 The Association for the Work Truck Industry, represents nearly 1,800 companies that manufacture, distribute, install, sell and repair commercial trucks, truck bodies, truck equipment, trailers and accessories. Buyers of work trucks and the major commercial truck chassis manufacturers also belong to NTEA. The Association provides in-depth technical information, education, and member programs and services, and produces Work Truck Week<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The NTEA Member Verification Program recognizes companies for successfully implementing specific business standards and processes, and for taking the necessary steps to comply with applicable government regulations. Suppliers and upfitters with MVP status are identifiable to fleet managers and truck dealers as having achieved a higher commitment to excellence by their effective use of safety and quality standards. Program criteria can involve liability insurance, warranty programs, vehicle and employee certification, safety policies and quality assurance \u2014 factors important to dealers, fleets and OEMs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Snow Control Equipment Manufacturers Committee has operated as a product-related organization under the NTEA since 1979. The SCEMC\u2019s goal is to promote the manufacture and use of safe and efficient snow and ice control equipment.
